I am a member of Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration cadre) with versatile knowledge and experience. My academic background is basically graduation and post-graduation in agriculture. I have also done MBA with specialization in finance and human resource management. I have undergone lot of training programs on policy making including public procurement and project management. I have more than 10 years of direct work experience in project management specially actively involved in designing, approving, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of public sector projects and programs. I had been working as project manager (Deputy Project Director and Project Director) for 3 years. Presently I am working as Director General (DG) at IMED under Ministry of Planning. As DG my main responsibilities are building a team for monitoring and evaluation of public sector projects, visiting the projects and making recommendations to the implementing ministries and agencies, hiring consultants for in-depth and impact study of projects, acting as chief coordinator of independent verification units. I prefer working as mentor for the team members and the project managers (Project Director).
