Shamima Begum is a highly respected project, strategy, and transformation management professional with more than 16 years of experience leading large-scale initiatives across diverse industries. With a proven track record of delivering projects exceeding USD 1 billion in value, she is widely recognized as one of Bangladesh’s leading experts in project management, organizational transformation, quality management, and business strategy.
She currently serves as President of Strategic Transformation Consultants, operating in both Bangladesh and California, USA, where she advises organizations on project excellence, strategic transformation, process improvement, and performance management.
A passionate trainer and mentor, Ms. Shamima has played a pioneering role in advancing professional development in Bangladesh. She introduced several internationally recognized training programs for the first time in the country, including PMP® Exam Preparation, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Six Sigma Green Belt certification courses. Since 2010, she has trained more than 3,000 project and quality management professionals and worked with over 100 corporate organizations to strengthen their project and operational capabilities.
Ms. Shamima holds an MBA from Jahangirnagar University and possesses several prestigious international credentials, including Project Management Professional (PMP®) from PMI, Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), Master Black Belt from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), and Certified KPI Professional from The KPI Institute, Australia.
An active member of PMI Bangladesh Chapter since 2014, she has also been a dedicated volunteer for many years, contributing significantly to the growth of the project management profession and the development of the professional community in Bangladesh.
