Md. Aharap Shahriar Anik is a highly accomplished Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt (CSSMBB™) with a strong academic foundation in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He is recognized for his expertise in project leadership, process improvement, operational excellence, and stakeholder management across diverse sectors, including infrastructure development, construction, real estate, and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects.
Currently serving as a Consulting Engineer with the Bangladesh Army on the DNCC 18 Wards Infrastructure Development Project, Mr. Anik has successfully led and managed complex projects throughout their lifecycle, from planning and execution to risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement. His ability to navigate challenging project environments and deliver sustainable outcomes has earned him recognition as a collaborative leader and results-driven professional.
Since joining the PMI Bangladesh Chapter as a volunteer in 2020, Mr. Anik has made significant contributions across multiple portfolios and leadership roles. He currently serves as the Director of Membership & Certification, where he plays a key role in strengthening member engagement, promoting PMI certifications, and supporting the chapter’s strategic growth initiatives. His dedication to volunteer leadership has earned him recognition as a "Star Volunteer" in the PMI South Asia region, along with volunteer appreciation awards from PMI Global.
A passionate advocate for innovation and continuous improvement, Mr. Anik introduced the "Lean Construction" course in Bangladesh for the first time, helping to advance modern project delivery practices within the country's construction industry. His commitment to professional development and knowledge sharing has positioned him as a respected speaker, trainer, and mentor, regularly delivering keynote presentations and professional training sessions for organizations and industry professionals.
Among his notable achievements, he has been recognized as "Employee of the Year" at Auspicious and has consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership, learning, and community service.
